Consortium Meeting 4, 22 & 23 September 2025

Universiti Malaysia Sabah (UMS) hosted the 4th Consortium Meeting (CM-4) for the Open Asia project on 22nd & 23rd September 2025 at the Chancellery Building in Kota Kinabalu, Sabah. The two-day meeting brought together project leaders, grant coordinators, and partner representatives to review progress, evaluate deliverables, and strengthen cross-institutional collaboration.   

Key Highlights:

• Consortium Leadership & Welcome: Opening remarks delivered by Project Grant Coordinator Prof. Ir. Dr. Shaliza Ibrahim (UNITEN), Grant Co-coordinator Olesea Sirbu (EPDRI), and UMS Host Lead Prof. Ir. Dr. Rosalam Sarbatly.   
• Work Package Progress Reviews: Comprehensive presentation sessions and Q&A evaluations covering Work Packages 1 through 7 (WP1–WP7).   
• Group Discussions & Strategy: Interactive group sessions focused on project alignment and implementation workflows.
