The first Consortium Meeting (CM1) kicked off on 19 March 2024, and was hosted by the NMIMS deemed to be University, India.
The Open Science Forum was held in Mumbai India with a theme, “Unlocking Knowledge: Forum on Open Science”.
The Study Visit for Infrastructure was organised between 15 and 19 April 2024, and held in Tampere University, Finland.
In June 2024, delegates for the Open Asia project visited the Netherlands to explore the Science Shop concept and practices at the Athena Institute, VU Amsterdam.
The second Consortium Meeting (CM2) for the Open Asia project was hosted by Universiti Malaya took place on 21st & 22nd October 2024, bringing together key partners to discuss progress, share insights, and align on the next steps for the project.
The second Open Science Forum held on 23rd & 24th October 2024 provided an engaging platform for researchers, policymakers, and technology experts to discuss the latest topics, issues and trends in Open Science, and build consensus on Open Science practices.
In November 2024, key representatives from the Open Asia consortium partners spent 5 working days in Slovenia to participate in a series of brainstorming, discussions and sharing sessions.
